I've done some adverts. Lots of adverts actually.

I've never done an "award winning" advert. I have, however, done some ads that have won awards. Good awards for creativity and effectiveness. Ads that were written to a brief and bought by clients who trusted that they would work for their business.

The best ads have an idea. An idea can affect the world we live in (hopefully for the better) and a good idea in advertising can affect the bottom line of a balance sheet.

It was Dave Trott who said " . . . creativity is the only legal, unfair advantage clients have over their competition."
